Authpur National Model Higher Secondary School, founded in the year 1992, in the semi-industrial town of Authpur to cater the growing educational needs of the children hailing from the middle class families of the locality. Authpur National Model Higher Secondary School is situated in 2 healthy and open areas of Authpur, near Shyamnagar Railway Station. The school campus has a double storied building surrounded by green luxuriant trees. Serenity and calmness pervades the whole atmosphere providing an ideal atmosphere for modern and liberal education to the children, both boys and girls to develop their total personality and to prepare them to combat with the problems of modern day's life and above all to help them to grow into an upright citizen of the nation.

Teaching Staff

 

The school has a dedicated team of teachers. Nursery classes are dominated by play-way methods. Special Cassettes train the kids in copying the correct pronunciation and tilting tunes in rhyme and recitation periods. Senior students too have full coverage of the key subjects. Teachers are committed to complete the syllabi prescribed for each term. Academic year is split into four semesters. Examinations are conducted in order to evaluate the scholastic achievement of the students. They are also assessed through periodical tests and internal assessments. We however believe that education means drawing out and not pumping in.

 

Courses

Students are also prepared for the Indian Certificate of Secondary Examination as well as Indian School Certificate Examination conducted by the Council for the I.C.S.E. /I.S.C., New Delhi with a provision of Science, Commerce and Arts.

Diary

 

The School Diary is intended to be used by pupils to end their school activities and homework. Parents are requested to refer to it daily to keep in touch with their ward's day today progress.

 

Admissions

 

Admission is granted after a test which is arranged after registration or enrollment. Age eligibility is a decisive factor and birth certificates are to be produced in its support. Two plus is prescribed for Lower Nursery and one year correspondingly to

 

be added in case of subsequent steps of class. An advance petition stating the reason for withdrawal along with the requisite fee worth (equal to) one month's fee is essential at least one week before the intended withdrawal certificate. Some fees are charged for admission and withdrawal.

 

Readmission after a long break will not be a matter of claim. Special permission of the Principal will be essential.
